Day 9
The guide book describes today's stage as relatively easy but it was hot and humid and we enjoyed several beers at the end.
The first photo is of an elaborate fish ladder on the Moll River funded by a hydro electricity company that generates power from enormous turbines powed by water dropping about 1500m in altitude through pipes about 2m in diameter.
The next 3 are of a part of the trail that followed the route a band of Crusaders took returning from fighting the infidels in the 12th century. Legend has it that the Holy Roman Emporer Frederick I spent the night at the cave pictured on his return.
