Day 31 Heaven can wait
Now, from time to time over the last few weeks I have blabbed on about the good food and wine we have experienced. Well, today we walked back into Italy, to book into an old fashioned hotel in Cormons. No lunch was offered, but the dinner was to die for.
Entree was spinach and ricotta ravioli, main was venison and wild boar, and the dessert, oh my god, the dessert was ice cream with fig and rum. Not sure how to put into words but I am delaying cleaning my teeth for as long as possible.
We sampled both the house white and red wines, grown in a vineyard across the road, both beautiful.
